Gemmotherapy uses the embryonic portions of plants to create remedies that focus treatiment at the cellular level. The bud, rootlets, young shoots and inner bark portions of the plant contain primary meristems, or herbal stem cells. They contain the full potential of the plant.
Gemmotherapy remedies are prepared through special tincturing methods to preserve the potential of the plant material and are prepared in a 1D strength. As trees are the highest on the chain of plants, they are used for these remedies.
Each plant contains a synergistic array of thousands constituents and each has a different healing potential, a different realm of action. Gemmotherapy remedies are carefully prescribed to address the individual needs of the client.
The primary action of Gemmotherapy is on a cellular level, draining, cleaning and supporting the cell. We use Gemmotherapy to deal with conditions that are primarily physical and therefore require deep physical rebuilding for the client to progress.
When would you use a Gemmotherapy remedy rather than Homeopathy or Herbs?
Gemmotherapy is particularly indicated when regular Homeopathic remedies have been properly chosen but don’t work as fully or as well as should be expected. I also have found Gemmotherapy useful when clients react with side effects to an herbal remedy that should have been fine for them. The client may be prescribed a Homeopathic remedy or herbal care following Gemmotherapy treatment to complete the cure, if needed.
How do Gemmotherapy remedies differ from Homeopathy or Herbal remedies?
Homeopathic remedies are prepared by tincturing the initial material in alcohol and are prepared from thousands of different remedy sources. Gemmotherapy uses tree material and is tinctured through adistinctive process to preserve the cells and potentized only to 1 or 3 D.
Herbal remedies are given in actual plant form through teas, capsules, infusions, and so on. Herbal remedies are not potentized.
Are Gemmotherapy remedies something that I can safely use over-the-counter?
I would advise against it. While the remedies are generally safe, they need to be prescribed carefully and in consideration of your whole health history, conditions, what other things you are taking and so on. Too rapid action on a cellular level, resultant rapid detoxification, or interaction with other drugs can make you feel pretty grim.
I would recommend your seeking out a practitioner who has had specialized certification training in Gemmotherapy to get the best results. There is a wonderful feeling to these remedies and all the contained life-force they have. That potential needs to be respected and used respectfully.

agree that everything we should take-in should be prescribe by our trusted doctors, found a site that they really train doctors before prescribing a certain product that would heal and regenerate our cells; hmm! good way to start a healthy living, because if we take in supplement and for our cells and perhaps are not working properly or dead that supplement wouldnt be as effective that it should be.
Hi I am interested in gemmotherapy. I have been seening a homeopathic doctor for a few years now for the treatment of type I diabetes, obesity, and an array of other health issues. I have not really improved at all and I’m getting upset that I can’t seem to feel better. I was wondering if I could be given the name of someone who does gemmotherapy in my area. Or someone who will do a distance consultation. As long as it would be of benifit to me.
Thank you
