By the time they are adults, they would never have developed typical friendships or relationships with parents or siblings since they mostly seem to be unaware of other people&#039;s feeling.

Shoshana Says... Thanks for your comment, Jullietta. I agree and not. Asperger&#039;s Syndrome is a spectrum disorder. Some kids act as you say, but many are FLK&#039;s - &quot;Funny Looking Kids&quot; that just seem a bit off, with full eye contact and lots of ideas about how things should be. True that social contact is an issue and lots of thing have to be learned, but I have a number of clients with playmates, learning in regular school and doing pretty well all round. Asperger&#039;s is part of the Autistic Spectrum - there is a full rainbow of behaviors.</description>
